Snap Inc., parent of Snapchat, staged a much-anticipated public offering in March, raising nearly $4B in the $17 per-share offering.
Since the IPO, the stock of the disappearing messaging app traded as high as $29.44 before tumbling to the $17 offering price this month.
Snap reported first-quarter revenue of $149.6M and a net loss of $2.2B during the first-quarter. The deficit included a $2B charge for stock-based compensation expense.
Jennifer Stout, a former aide to John Kerry, heads the D.C. office of Venice, CA-based Snap.
