The company is headquartered in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Acuris CEO Hamilton Matthews told O’Dwyer’s that the new brand name was conceived to embody the company’s chief characteristics, and comes amid a restructuring of its product portfolio.
“Since our inception in 2000, we’ve come a long way from just providing strictly M&A intelligence,” Matthews said. “The new Acuris name encompasses our entire suite of products that now covers fixed income, transactions, compliance and equities. Additionally, it is a hybrid of the company’s core concepts to provide ‘acumen,’ ‘curation,’ and ‘insight’ through all of our offerings. The name change reflects and encapsulates just how far we’ve come as a company.”
