The Advertising Club of New York and Redbooks will preview martech’s future on August 1 at “ADTHINK 18: The Brightest in MarTech,” sponsored by Davis & Gilbert.
Using a format similar to that of television’s “Shark Tank,” the event will give four tech start-ups the opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of industry experts.

Gina Waldhorn, president of invention platform Quirky, will serve as moderator of the panel. Panelists are Keenan Beasley of BLKBOX; Scott Gardner, Liquid Agency CEO; and Tricia Nicholas, Esteé Lauder VP-global consumer marketing.
Four "contestants" —location platform for mobile apps Radar, video feedback platform Instapanel, social media marketplace The8App and chatbot developer Headliner Labs—will pitch their ideas, and then the panel will offer their insights in an unfiltered roundtable conversation.
Following the discussion, members of the audience will be able to ask questions and provide feedback to the panel.
The event runs from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the NYIT Auditorium, Broadway and 61st Street in Manhattan.
Admission is $35, $25 for Friends of Redbooks and Advertising Club members.
