Bill Nowling, who ran Finn Partners' Detroit office, has exited to run the Motor City outpost of Lambert Edwards & Associates, which is based in Grand Rapids.
He joined Finn in 2014 after handling communications for then-Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr during the bankruptcy process.

Jeffrey Lambert called Nowling "a highly respected peer, formidable competitor and even partner on projects in the past."
Former newspaper reporter Nowling has been active in Republican politics, serving as spokesperson for Michigan Governor Rick Snyder successful 2010 campaign. He also advised Snyder during the Flint water crisis.
