People on the Move at Gresham, Smith; Allison+Partners; Reis Group and SeeDepth

Beth Casteel, a veteran journalist of the Associated Press, joined The Reis Group as senior counselor. She also worked for the American College of Cardiology and American Psychiatric Assn., brings a well-rounded experience of healthcare issues, medical societies and the media to Washington-based TRG. Sharon Reis also upped Stephanie Wight and Kathleen Petty to senior account executives.

Russell Mix takes over for Christine Perkett as CEO of SeeDepth, Boston-based PR analytics firm. With more than 35 years of experience of software and start-up experience, Mix is “to amplify our efforts and take SeeDepth to the next stage of growth,” said Perkett, founder of the firm.

Layton Meng promoted to corporate communications director at Gresham, Smith and Partners, architectural, engineering and design firm. She’s in charge of developing, implementing and measuring effectiveness of GS&P’s internal/external communications and market-based business objectives. Meng joined GS&P in 2007 form Qorvis Communications.

Zach Colvin sits in new California chair position created at Allison+Partners to oversee San Francisco headquarters and Los Angeles, San Diego and Silicon Valley outposts. He reports to Jonathan Heit, Americas president. Colvin joined Allison, which is part of MDC Partners, in 2006.
