Cision reported a $19.1M Q2 net loss, down from $21M a year ago, during its first quarter as a public company. Revenue soared 73 percent to $157.1M.
CEO Kevin Akeroyd called improved organic revenue growth and continued margin expansion as reasons Cision “delivered another solid quarter.”

The Chicago-based company averaged 36,100 subscribers during the quarter with each kicking in annual revenue of $10,300.
There were 33,200 transactional customers who each spent $1,560.
Cision recorded $303M in first-half revenues and a loss of $41.1M.
Akeroyd forecasts full-year revenue between $636M and $640M.
Cision’s shares are trading at $10.78.
