Baltimore-based boutique PR firm Sandy Hillman Communications has broadened its footprint along the Eastern seaboard, with the addition of a new satellite office in Charlotte, NC.
The Charlotte outpost will be led by Hillary Schrum, who joined SHC in 2011 as an intern and assumed the role of senior account executive earlier this year.
The agency said that it plans to add staff to the new location incrementally.
“We have long admired the vitality of Charlotte,” Sandy Hillman Comms. founder and president Sandy Hillman told O’Dwyer’s. “A number of our clients are located in the south, and this office provides us with geographic proximity to them. In terms of agency growth, we are excited by the prospect of being part of a major center of business activity.”
Sandy Hillman Communications, which was founded in 2007, maintains a third office in New York. The Worldcom Public Relations Group member firm, which specializes in travel and tourism, food/beverage, healthcare, governmental agencies and non-profits, counts Caesars Entertainment, Under Armour, The National WWII Museum, The National WWI Museum and Memorial, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Project Management Institute as clients.
