“Cosmify’s advanced discovery, clustering, and classification capabilities will enhance Meltwater’s ability to connect the dots between a wide range of data types from internal and external data and ultimately help business leaders make more informed decisions,” said a statement from Jorn Lyseggen, CEO/founder of Meltwater.
The San Francisco-based media intelligence and analytics firm has acquired five firms during the past 18 months.
In June, Meltwater scooped up Infomart, media monitoring arm of Canada’s Postmedia Network and Klarity, Hong Kong-headquartered data solutions outfit.
Meltwater employs more than 1,500 staffers in a 55-office network. It claims to serve half of the Fortune 500 roster of companies, as clients.
