Havas U.S. has announced a joint venture with New York-based consultancy TRIPTK, which specializes in leveraging social sciences, art, and literary theory and criticism to help break down cultural challenges and questions brands face. TRIPTK aims to develop a brand’s core positioning and purpose to set a clear agenda for future marketing. Its capabilities include consumer, cultural and category market intelligence, trend understanding, innovation, ideation and brand strategy. “This insights offering takes our client strategies to new heights and puts more value on the qualitatively rooted skillset of problem solving, storytelling and interpretation.” said Paul Marobella, chairman and CEO, Havas Creative, U.S. Former Flamingo/Omnicom NY Managing Partner Sam Hornsby, will serve as chief executive officer.

Millwright Holdings has acquired Boston-based agency Warner Communications. Warner will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary with agency account staff remaining in place. Carin Warner, founder and president of Warner, will join Millwright’s leadership team. “The acquisition of Warner perfectly underscores our focus on specialist, independent agencies with long-tenured senior teams delivering cross-functional marketing expertise and strong operational performances,” said Millwright CEO Michael Young, Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

BoardroomPR has been named Agency of the Year by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The award was presented Nov. 16 at PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale’s End-of-the-Year Banquet & Wizard Awards.
