Diffusion has been named PR agency of record for smart mobility company Electron Wheel. The firm will work with the company ahead of the launch of its Gen 2 Smart Wheel, a front wheel replacement system designed to turn any bike into an electronic bike. The wheel works in tandem with the Electronic Wheel app, which allows riders to track speed, distance, battery and more through their mobile device. The campaign will highlight the pros and cons associated with traditional e-bikes and other wheel replacement systems currently on the market. “We needed an agency that would be able to communicate our key benefits on a larger scale, and we knew Diffusion would not only understand the nuances that solidify our unique position in the electric bike marketplace, but they’d also have the creativity and know-how to help us stand out among competitors,” said James Parker, VP of marketing and operations at Electron Wheel.

Gear Communications will be handling PR efforts for HOTSHOT, a formula to prevent and treat muscle cramps. Gear will be working alongside Arnold Worldwide and Havas Media, who are taking on the creative and media responsibilities for the campaign. Invented by Rod MacKinnon, a Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist and endurance athlete, HOTSHOT is intended to boost Neuro Muscular Performance – how an athlete's nerves and muscles work together in an optimal way.
