Bob Safian, who became editor of Fast Company in Feb. '07, is leaving the magazine at the end of January to explore other opportunities.
He joined the Mansueto Ventures-owned FC from the executive editor slot at Fortune and earlier held top edit positions at its sister Time Inc. publications Time and Money.
Eric Schurenberg, who edits MV’s Inc. will assume Safian’s duties at FC, which launched in 1995.
