Stan Litow, VP of corporate affairs and corporate citizenship for IBM and president of its foundation, sat down for an interview with Meettheboss.tv and talked about the technology giant's transition from "checkbook philanthropy" to "a more substantive and meaningful contribution" which helps communities and has increased employee retention.
Litow describes IBM's Corporate Service Corps as a kind of Corporate Peace Corps and notes its success in retaining executives past the typical moving-on point of about 10 years. About 1,500 employees now participate.
