As far as I'm concerned, the first things any celebrity, including Favre, should do is speak to an attorney, to make sure he doesn't do anything that may cause legal problems,and to his employers. Everything that follows should flow from those discussions.

Why do we only spend so much time on people who are famous? What would we do to encourage or help some slob whose name only became known beause someone accused him and he was guilty? Charlie Sheen, Tiger Woods, Mel Gibson and now a formerly smart guy named Favre...don't deserve the kind of time and free advice we would never offer lesser lights. As Arthur suggests, let them get their attorneys to deal with the domestic stuff, but do administer justice justly.
