The new Congress will have implications for healthcare, financial services, even social media techniques. D.C. staffers for Powell Tate|Weber Shandwick produced a series of clips about their expectations after last week's midterm elections.
Eric Hoffman, SVP: "We have divided government again and for the financial services industry that means gridlock."
Peter Carson, EVP: "The midterm elections were clearly in part a repudiation of the policies that President Obama has pushed with the Democratic Congress, and part of that was the anger and, I think, perceived overreach on healthcare reform."
Other clips tackle energy and the environment, food/nutrition, and even social media techniques.
