The U.S. Agency for International Development is reviewing proposals for its media monitoring account, following an RFP process that closed July 31.
USAID’s Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs plans to hire a vendor to produce daily weekday reports and summaries of English-language print, online and broadcast media content typically ranging from 60 to 100 articles per report.
The federal entity declined to provide the name of the incumbent or the value of its contract but said the company was eligible to submit a proposal.
The RFP, released July 2, called on monitoring companies to submit a sample report for a 24-hour period from July 25-26 covering mentions of USAID, its officials employees and programs, as well as global news related to development and humanitarian aid.
A one-year contact with two options years is planned.
