Randy Blythe, the lead vocalist of the Grammy-nominated Virginia-based group, was arrested for his alleged role in an altercation at a 2010 concert that left a concert attendee dead.
In a statement, Ferrero stressed that no formal charges have yet been made and that the case is in the investigation stage. She said the band’s management would have a statement on Monday but denied reports that Blythe was charged.
“Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved,” Ferrero said. “This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head. “
The band canceled a June 28 performance in Prague.
“Again, until the investigation is concluded this weekend, nothing more will be released, but clarity and the facts needed to be addressed on this one reported point which is totally inaccurate,” said Ferrero.
Nine-year-old Adrenaline has repped music acts like "American" Idol winner Lee Dewyze, DETHKLOK and Machine Head.
