PR consultant and former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer gave a thumbs-up to the Republican strategy on "Morning Joe" April 1 ahead of this week's showdown with the president over a budget deal.

"[Republicans] need to learn one of the lessons of '95 and know when to declare victory," he said. "They're doing great."

On the Tea Party: "They still have to learn the art of compromise."

On Barack Obama: "If the president doesn't lead, it doesn't get done."

Ari Fleischer has failed at everything he's ever tried to do, starting with the WH press secretary job and continuing on with this "sports PR" venture which hasn't taken off...his opinions are really not very relevant here.
