Of those family-owned companies, about half of those are owned or led by women. These include Ashford Castle in Ireland and The Milestone in London, curated by Bea Tollman of Red Carnation; AdventureWomen, owned and operated by the Wineland trio — Judi Wineland and her two daughters; d’Angleterre in Copenhagen, led by Else-Marie Remmen, and family; and the Perfect Experiences owned by a group of sisters and captained by Madelyn Willems.
