Miami-based lifestyle and fashion agency TARA, Ink. has expanded to the East Coast, with the recent addition of a New York City office.

TARA’s Big Apple outpost, which is located on Wall Street in lower Manhattan, is currently open for business. The office is led by senior publicist Rebecca Astorga, who reports to principal Nick D’Annunzio. Principal Tara Solomon and VP Timothy Walker will also make frequent trips to the new East Coast digs.

The agency told O’Dwyer’s that the NYC office would support TARA’s existing clientele roster while adding to its portfolio of clients. The agency also said the office is currently hiring and will eventually staff up to five.

“Our agency has always maintained an active presence in New York City, with agency principals and team members flying in regularly for media appointments, client meetings, and event initiatives ranging from James Beard House dinners to fashion launches,” TARA, Ink. principal and founder Tara Solomon told O’Dwyer’s. “It just made sense to establish more permanent roots, particularly in Lower Manhattan, where many of fashion titles have relocated.”

The Miami-based PR and special events firm, which was founded in 2001, maintains additional locations in Los Angeles and Dallas. Clients include Acqua Di Parma, Dolce & Gabbana, Brickell City Centre, Faena Hotel Miami Beach, La Mer, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Mirto and Gucci.
