Boutique lobbying and government affairs firm Sonoran Policy Group, LLC has been retained by the Czech Republic embassy in Washington, D.C. to provide U.S. government engagement services.

According to Foreign Agents Registration Acts documents filed in April, SPG will help facilitate a stateside visit by Czech president Milos Zeman, and may later help facilitate interactions between Czech officials and the US. executive branch as well as Congress in a bid to ensure increased trade and investment between the two countries, as well as other issues aiding bilateral relations.

The pact was signed by Martin Nejedlý, head of advisers to the president of the Czech Republic.

SPG in December signed a similar diplomacy pact with the New Zealand Embassy in Washington, D.C. Politico in January reported that former Trump campaign staffer Stuart Jolly has now been appointed the firm’s president.

There is currently no formal written contract between SPG and the Czech Embassy.
