Meredith Klein E-commerce company Jet.com has named Meredith Klein media and public relations director.
Her appointment becomes effective May 22.
Klein arrives at the online retailer from global independent agency Makovsky, which she joined in 2013 and most recently served as group vice president, consumer. Prior to that she was a senior manager at Interpublic-owned agency Golin (GolinHarris).
Klein will be responsible for driving consumer awareness for the Jet brand and its customer value proposition as the company continues to grow.
Jet.com's online shopping platform provides cost savings on household goods. The Hoboken, NJ-based company, which launched in 2015, was acquired last year by retail colossus Walmart for $3.3 billion.
