Central Health

Central Health, which provides medical and hospital care to needy and uninsured residents of Texas’ Travis County, is looking for a firm to support its public affairs and strategic communications efforts.

Travis County has 1.3M people and is the home of Austin, the capital of the Lone Star State.

Central Health requires the partner to have “a deep and comprehensive knowledge of Travis County’s political landscape and have established, trusted relationships with elected officials and their constituents at the city, county, state and federal levels,” according to the RFP.

The firm will develop messaging and a communications plan that disseminates information in formats and forums most effective for the targeted stakeholder/audience.

It also will stand ready to provide crisis management services.

Proposals are due June 23. They go to the Central Health's BidSync portal.
