afsThe American Fisheries Society, the Maryland-based organization of scientists and fisheries professionals, has cast a net for a PR contractor to develop a strategic communications plan with a special committee.

The AFS wants a PR plan to guide strategic and coordinated approaches (messaging, audiences, tactics) across its outreach, and coordinate “appropriate and effective” communications actions with partners and other organizations, according to an RFP issued in late October. The work must be concluded by Aug. 15, 2015.
