dinoUtah's Uintah County, an outdoor recreation mecca that is the home of Dinosaur National Monument, is on the hunt for a PR firm to boost travel and tourism to the region.

The desert landscape amid the Uintah Mountains contains an estimated 1,500 dinosaur bones, marketed as "Dinosaurland," and encompasses three state parks as well as the National Monument that stretches into neighboring Colorado. White water rafting and other outdoor recreation are also top draws.

Uintah County Travel and Tourism released an RFP this month covering tourism marketing and PR efforts to enhance the region's current "tourism brand and image."

Proposals are due Dec. 22. View the RFP (PDF).
