Edelman alum Jon Ramsey has joined APCO Worldwide, where he’s been named director of the independent communication agency’s global technology practice.
Ramsey joined Edelman in 2013 and served as an account supervisor in the independent PR giant’s Seattle technology team. Prior to that he was an account manager at Woodinville, WA-based agency FTW! Public Relations.
At APCO, Ramsey will be responsible for shaping practice strategy for North America as well as bringing in new client profiles. He’ll be stationed in Seattle.
APCO in December also added former Microsoft industry affairs senior director Kim Gagne to the agency’s tech practice.
APCO in 2015 accounted for more than $15 million in tech-related net fees.
