Edelman CEO Richard Edelman and noted PR professor and author James Grunig are among panelists slated for a free Feb. 28 event by The Conference Board and New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
The panel, "Stakeholder Expectations and the 21st Century Board," will tackle issues that arise when organizations listen to and engage with stakeholders.
Joining Edelman and Grunig, professor emeritus at the Univ. of Maryland, will be author and European PR counselor Toni Muzi Falconi, and Emilio Galli Zugaro, head of group communications for insurance giant Allianz.
Falconi, Grunig and Zugaro recently penned "Global Stakeholder Relationships Governance: An Infrastructure" (Palgrave Pivot December 2013), arguing stakeholder relationships only work if approached from a global perspective.
