ultheraUlthera, specialty dermatology company that has developed a non-invasive ultrasound treatment for cosmetic medical practices, is looking for a PR partner to build awareness in the U.S. and selected foreign markets.

Pitched as the “beauty of sound,” Ultratherapy lifts and tightens neck, chin and eybrow skin and is used in more than 2,000 practices. It’s the only energy-based tool to get the Food and Drug Administration’s nod for non-invasive lifts.

Lindsey Karberg, who is handing the search, told O’Dwyer’s a “handful of agencies” have been invited to participate in the RFP process, which has a March 7 submission deadline.

There is no current shop working the business.

High-income women are said to be the RFP’s top audience with urban and gay males as secondary targets.

“We are looking to partner with a firm that has experience representing beauty/wellness/boomer brands, working in a regulated environment—preferably the FDA—and pitching internationally,” said Karberg.

Ulthera is in Mesa, AZ.
