Interpublic Group appoints Susan Credle as creative advisor, a newly created role. Credle will continue to serve as chair of IPG creative agency FCB through the remainder of 2024, reporting to IPG CEO Philippe Krakowsky. Before coming to FCB in 2016, Credle held top creative posts at Leo Burnett and BBDO. In her new role, Credle’s responsibilities will include incorporating creative perspectives into emerging offerings such as commerce and marketing technology solutions and ensuring that the holding company’s creative efforts take account of new and emerging areas like generative AI. “This advisory role allows us all to tap into her unique expertise, her standing as an industry leader, and her interest in representing the power of creative ideas linked to our full range of capabilities, in the service of building our clients’ brands and growing their businesses,” said Krakowsky.

Bennett most recently served as CMO at Brown Rudnick, leading its business development and marketing communications functions in the US and UK. Before that, she was senior director of business development at Venable. Bennett has also practiced as a lawyer at Shearman & Sterling in New York and Crowell & Moring in Washington, D.C. “Julia has proven her ability to elevate the marketing capabilities of a firm and generate innovative ideas for business development success,” said Davis Wright firmwide managing partner Scott MacCormack.
