The National Iranian American Council today launched NIAC Action lobbying arm to maximum that community's influence in Washington and advance ties between the US and Iran.
It says NAICA's mission is to "advance peace and human rights" in the Middle East region, promote civil rights and back political candidates who are sympathetic to its cause.
NIACA claims the key to preventing war and advancing peace with Iran is "sealing a nuclear deal."

NAICA considers J Street, a left-leaning Jewish-American lobbying group, its role model.
