Ruscheinski joins Zeno from sister agency Edelman, where she held a series of high-profile executive positions at the world’s largest independent PR firm for nearly fifteen years. Most recently, Ruscheinski served as Edelman's vice chairman of client engagement, where she provided counsel and helped account leaders drive growth and engagement. Prior to that she was chief innovation officer and global vice chair, and was responsible for accelerating innovation and identifying potential agency partners. She also served as the agency’s chief operating officer and was formerly president of Edelman Chicago.

As chief operating officer, Ruscheinski is now tasked with overseeing the agency’s client growth, development and integration across its key practices, and will also help shape the agency's strategy and planning, creative, intellectual property and education initiatives.

She will be based out of Zeno’s Chicago office and will report to agency CEO Barby Siegel, who in a statement said Ruscheinski “brings to Zeno unparalleled experience.”

Edelman sister agency Zeno Group in January acquired UK-based Three Monkeys Communications. The agency in September also named its first chief digital officer, John Kerr. Zeno now ranks as one of O'Dwyer's top ten PR firms, accounting for nearly $40 million in net fees in 2014, according to O'Dwyer's rankings of PR firms.
