The Justice Dept. isn't going to subpoena reporters who publish leaked information about the Trump administration, Rod Rosenstein, deputy attorney general told today's 'Fox News Sunday."

Department of Justice

The Department's focus is on those government officials who supplied the info to the journalists, he said in walking back Attorney General's Jeff Sessions' remarks Friday about going after the media.

“We’re after the people who are committing crimes...We don’t prosecute journalists for doing their jobs,” said Rosenstein, who appointed Robert Mueller special prosecutor to investigate Russia's meddling in the 2016 Presidential election.

Rosenstein did say the Justice Dept. would prosecute journalists who publish stories that pose a threat to national security.
