The city of Lewiston, Maine is looking for a design and branding firm as part of an initiative to create and implement an improved logo and brand identity for the city.

In addition to a new logo, the Androscoggin River town, which is Maine’s second largest city, is looking for a marketing consultant that can updated messaging, marketing strategy and identity guidelines, as well as render various marketing services.

Scope of work includes updating logos to be used by the City and its various constituents including the police, public works, fire, and school departments; outlining brand strategy and messaging; establishment of a new style guide to ensure consistent branding; creating new taglines, brand statements and marketing copy; and providing ongoing design and marketing assistance.

The city expects the contract to run for a three-year period, with primary strategy and identity work to be completed by June 30.
