Sunland Park, New Mexico is requesting proposals from agencies that can develop a branding strategy for the purpose of stimulating tourism and attracting travelers and visitors to the city.

The border city, which sits adjacent to El Paso across from the Mexican city of Juárez, is looking for a full-service advertising and/or marketing agency that can provide marketing services related to the development of tourism and destination branding and key messaging that reflects the city’s tourism climate, with an emphasis on increasing visitation to Sunland Park’s businesses, entertainment venues, natural places, monuments, restaurants and hotels.

Scope of the work includes developing a consistent overall look for Sunland Park’s marketing and brand identity for stakeholders as well as the city, and the creation of key branding messages tailored to specific markets (leisure consumers, meeting planners, group/packaged travel planners and sports planners).

This branding strategy will be applied to future marketing plan elements including advertising social media web/online, consumer and travel trade outlets, billboards, meetings/conventions, e-newsletters, tradeshow booths, meeting/convention bid packets, promotional items and official publications (visitor guides, meeting planner guides, tour planners, sports facility guides, rack brochures, etc.

Deadline for proposals is 4:00 (MST) on June 21.
