Bucksport, Maine is accepting proposals from agencies that can develop a marketing and branding plan that will raise awareness of the town among current and potential residents, current and future businesses, developers and visitors from the Pine Tree State and beyond.

The historic Hancock County town, which is located near the Penobscot River about 15 miles southeast of Bangor, needs a firm that can undertake a comprehensive and cost-effective marketing plan that builds upon the town’s history, resources and recent redevelopment efforts.

Scope of the work consists of identifying target markets, devising strategies, branding work and implementing goals and effective measurement metrics.

The project needs to be completed within four months and comes with a budget of $10,000.

All bidding agencies must submit one original and five copies of their proposals. Proposals must be clearly marked “RFP-Marketing Services.”
