The document's "statement of work" asks questions in the following categories, such as:
• Media database—How often is contact info for journalists updated? Do you show Facebook/Pinterest/Twitter feeds for the public share and can it be incorporated into reporting and alerting?
• Distribution platform—How many emails can I send in one distribution? Does the platform offer a native wire service?
• Analytics platform—How many clients/topics/folders/keywords can I track?
• User experience—How attractive would you say your customers say your interface is on a scale of 1-10?
• Customer support—Do you have a dedicated account manager to help with on-boarding, lead strategy sessions, best practices, etc?
The University also wants interested parties to run a search report on journalists: Amemona Hartocollis (New York Times), Nick Anderson (Washington Post), Dan Berrett (Chronicle of Higher Education); Chrissie Thompson (USA Today) and Melissa Korn (Wall Street Journal).
