Mackenzie

Mackenzie, which is located in British Columbia surrounded by boreal forests, lakes and mountains, is looking for a firm to develop a tourism plan. 

The firm will identify key sustainable long-term opportunities to “inspire people to visit Mackenzie, boot tourism investment, job creation, diversification and the ability for non-profits to apply for funding for projects.” 

It will create a work plan for the next five years with goals, timelines and clearly outlined strategies that align with the provincial destination development activities, according to the RFP. 

The PR partner will make recommendation on social media/website approaches and connect the local shopping program, “Love Mackenzie,” to the tourism pitch.
