Duluth, Minnesota is seeking qualifications from agencies that can provide tourism marketing services.

The port city, which sits on the north shore of Lake Superior and is the North Star State’s fourth-largest city, is looking for an experienced tourism marketing agency that can develop marketing strategies that elevate Duluth’s brand and position the city as a welcoming and safe destination and an ideal location for visitors’ next travel experience.

Scope of the work includes: creating a comprehensive marketing, advertising and communications plan for the city; developing profiles for target audiences (including demographics, psychographics, personas and media habits); creative campaign development; website development; developing video and photography assets; securing earned media opportunities; social media work; developing a comprehensive events marketing strategy; and data, analytics and reporting work.

Terms of the contract are anticipated to run until December 31, 2022.
