Texas’ Southwestern University is seeking proposals from agencies specializing in public relations, media relations and branding services.

The Georgetown, TX-based liberal-arts school, which was founded in 1840 and is the oldest institution of higher learning in the Lone Star State, is seeking an agency that can develop and execute a five-year plan to raise brand awareness and national visibility of the University, as well as strengthen its competitive position and provide ongoing reputation-management counsel.

Scope of the work includes identifying gaps in the University’s brand awareness; proposing opportunities to raise Southwestern’s visibility as an institutional brand among national media, higher-education trade media and other key influencers; devising ideas to leverage the expertise of Southwestern’s president, faculty and key staff through targeted media relations, opinion editorial placements and speaking opportunities; and developing digital strategies for use on the University’s website and social media platforms.
