Hawaii

Hawaii is looking to book a partner to handle $2.4M brand management and marketing services campaign in Canada, which is a key travel market for the Aloha State.

The destination is trying to rebound from the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Preliminary 2022 data, shows the number of arrivals hit the 9.3M mark, which was down 11 percent from 2019. Spending clocked in at $19.3B.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority wants to target current and next-generation “respective mindful travelers,” who will appreciate Hawaii’s diversity of people, place and culture. It is eager to increase per person daily spending, encourage repeat visits, build traffic during the shoulder seasons and develop multi-island itineraries.

The Canadian outreach is budgeted at $2.4M through December 2025.

Responses are due April 21. They go to Hawaii’s electronic portal.
