The San Jacinto River Authority is looking for a PR partner to support its Woodlands division that serves as a wholesaler to 11 municipal utility districts in Texas.
Woodlands will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024, which means that its infrastructure is quickly approaching maximum service life and breaks are a common occurrence.
Renewal projects are in the works to improve Woodlands’ reliability and to renew the aging system.
The SJRA wants a firm to handle a PR effort to educate and inform residents of planned projects and the impact on their water supply and wastewater bills.
The ideal partner will have a plan on how to create and communicate the value of the renewal projects before the work begins.
It will have experience in project communications management, social media communications, hosting and executing public meetings and educational graphics production.
SFRA plans to award a one-year contract with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.
