Footprint, a sustainable technology firm, appoints Heather Knox as senior vice president of global communications. Knox joins Footprint from Amazon, where she led operations communications for the Americas. She previously held senior communications roles in the U.S. and Europe at Microsoft, Nissan, and Groupe. At Footprint, she leads all global internal and external communications. “Heather’s range of experience and track record with both global brands and private companies is invaluable as we accelerate our mission to usher out the era of single-use plastics,” Footprint CEO Troy Swope said.

Lambert & Co. names managing director Mike Houston a partner in the firm. In addition to leading Lambert’s investor relations and financial business services practice groups, Houston is also chief operating officer at TiiCKER, the direct marketing platform launched by Lambert last year. He has also served as vice president of commercialization at biomaterial company Amedica Corporation and senior manager of corporate communications at Ancestry.com. “Mike’s ability to toggle up and down the capital continuum from public company IR work to transaction communications for PE, venture and middle market operating companies is unmatched,” said Lambert & Co. The Brandon Agency has promoted Christie DeAntonio to director of client services. DeAntonio has been with the agency since 2013, most recently serving as account director. She has worked on accounts such as Santee Cooper, Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and Hook + Gaff Watch Company.
