Pierpont Communications, a Houston-based agency with operations in all major Texas markets, hires Dan Mahoney and Pete Webb to focus on building a presence in the Denver market. Mahoney will serve as VP & general manager of Pierpont’s Denver operations. He comes to the agency from Communications Strategy Group, where he most recently served as CMO. With two decades of experience in the Denver area, Mahoney has worked as a strategist across both mature industries such as financial and professional services, and emerging industries including CleanTech, space and industry 4.0 technologies. Webb, along with his wife and business partner Ginny Williams, operated Webb Strategic Communications for over three decades. The agency has also promoted SVPs Allison Elbl, Matt Hanks, Mark Satlof and Rebecca Shapiro to co-presidents and upped VP Jaclyn D. Carter to SVP.
