FleishmanHillard has picked up Caron Treatment Centers, one of oldest drug and alcohol treatment centers, for strategic communications and social engagement.
The non-profit organization has more than 525 beds in facilities in Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida and regional offices in New York, Boston, Atlanta, and Washington.
John Henry, chief marketing officer of Caron, said FH earned the business based on the strength of its "strong corporate positioning and brand marketing experience."
He has more than 25 years of expertise in marketing, advertising, sales at AT&T, Realogy, PlanetServices and TrendIQ.
Launched more than 60 years ago, Caron offers primary, relapse and longer-term residential treatment services.
Its clients are adolescents, young adults, baby boomers and elderly, as well as families of the afflicted.
FH will service the account from New York with support from its Miami and Dallas outposts.
