Chapter president Olga Gonzalez said, “PR is an essential business function and New York is one of the most exciting cities to practice PR. There are numerous areas of specialization and the pulse of the city is kept alive by hardworking PR professionals and those companies and organizations that offer them opportunities.”
Gary Bridgens, chapter board member and facilitator of the Career Center, said it is “much more than a traditional job board.” It will “support our mission of making communications professionals smarter, better-prepared and more connected through all the stages of their careers with a singular platform through which professionals and recruiters can find success.”
The service is open to students seeking internships. Both members and non-members can take advantage of posting and searching functions said Gonzalez, who is CEO of Petra PR.
Rates range from $30 to $200 depending on the duration of the post.
A 30-day job posting that is included in one chapter newsletter is $50 for members and $100 for non-members. An internship listing for 30 days is $30 for members and $60 for non-members.
