Matt Chesler, media analyst for Deutsche Bank, has moved to MDC Partners as VP-investor relations.
He had focused on the advertising agency, magazine, local TV and audience measurement sectors.
Chesler was with the German bank for a 10-year run. Earlier, he did stints at Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He’ll work in tandem with CFO David Doft, who is CFO at the Canadian ad/PR combo.
Doft praised Chesler’s a “deep knowledge and understanding of our industry and of MDC's business.”
MDC reported a upswing in its third-quarter red ink to $19.3M from $13.2M.
CEO Miles Nadal declared a three-for-two stock split slated for Nov. 22.
