ICR, the number-two ranked firm for financial PR in O’Dwyer’s rankings of PR firms, reporting more than $37 million in finance-related net fees in 2015, has named Phil Denning, Anton Nicholas and Bo Park as partners.

Denning is co-head of the firm’s special situations group and head of the firm’s real estate & financial services corporate communications industry groups.  The 20-year veteran recently worked on voxeljet’s IPO, product quality concerns at lululemon athletica, Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and sale of Furniture Brands, CEO transition at Sourcefire, TRI Pointe Homes merger with Weyerhaeuser’s home building business and litigation support for Cardtronics.

Nicholas is head of the firm’s retail, consumer, industrials and clean-tech corporate communications industry groups and co-head of the firm’s special situations group.  He has almost 20 years of experience and most recently worked on IPOs for Papa Murphy’s, El Pollo Loco, The Habit, Materialise, Vectrus and Zoës Kitchen.

Park leads the technology, media and telecommunications PR practice at ICR. She specializes in corporate transformation, repositioning and rebranding and has helped clients grow from start-up stage to an IPO and beyond.  In her 20 years she's worked with clients ranging in size from the Fortune 500 to Internet start-ups, including Harman International, Mobileye, TechStyle (formerly Just Fab), Borderfree, Cardlytics, Elevate, ShopKeep and Samsung Electronics.

In the fall, ICR appointed financial veteran Scott Tangney to a managing director slot in the agency’s corporate communications group.  Tangney came over from Makovsky, where he was executive vice president and led that agency’s financial and professional services practice for more than a decade.
