New York-based 5W Public Relations has been named AOR for health-tech company RxAdvance.

RxAdvance is a pharmacy benefit management company that utilizes cloud technology to manage drug benefits and reduce health care costs. The Southborough, MA-based company, which was founded in 2013, is led by former Apple CEO John Sculley, who serves as chairman and chief marketing officer.
The full-service independent agency will be responsible for executing a comprehensive PR program for the purpose of helping RxAdvance reach its core audience and establishing the company as the only cloud-based PBM that can help curb the billions wasted on drug-impacted health care costs each year.
5W in 2015 accounted for nearly $5 million in technology-related net fees, according to O'Dwyer's rankings.
