R&J has been retained by NJCMHC in response to proposed funding cuts for mental health services in New Jersey's FY 18 budget.

The marketing and PR agency will now lead a statewide public awareness and advocacy initiative in support of the current funding model for mental health providers, and will provide strategic counsel as well as implement a statewide integrated public awareness, information and advocacy campaign that utilizes PR, media relations, social media and digital elements to educate and inform policymakers, patients and the public regarding what could happen if NJ Governor Chris Christie’s proposed 2018 budget goes unchanged.

R&J Strategic Communications, which was founded in 1986, rebranded in 2015 from its former moniker, R&J Public Relations, after acquiring Denville, NJ-based boutique marketing communications firm Fifth Room Creative.
