Libby Archell, director of corporate communications at Hewlett-Packard, is returning to aluminum giant Alcoa in September to head communications.

Archell, AshoohNick Ashooh, who holds the VP of corporate affairs role, is resigning for another opportunity.

Archell, a native of Australia, will lead all communications affecting Alcoa's reputation, relationships with the media and employee engagement, the company said, reporting to CEO Klaus Kleinfeld.
