Purpose Built Communities, a nonprofit housing organization, names Curtis Hunter VP of marketing and communications. Hunter joins Purpose Built after more than 16 years with The Walt Disney Company, where he most was recently senior marketing manager for the Disney Vacation Club. He has also held marketing posts at Pfizer and Abbott Laboratories. In his new role, he will oversee brand, marketing strategy, creative, stakeholder insights, and communications. He will also consult with Purpose Built Network members to help facilitate the development of local marketing and communications strategies. “We are thrilled to welcome Curtis to our team in this integral role for the organization,” said Purpose Built CEO Carol Naughton.

Phelan founded Nadel Phelan, a Silicon Valley-based PR firm, in 1993. In her new role at Intelligent Relations, she will spearhead the company's operations, drive strategic initiatives, and work to help clients get the full benefits of the company’s AI-assisted public relations platform. Allied Global Marketing promotes Erin Corbett to executive VP of global partnership marketing. Corbett, based in Los Angeles, launched Allied’s partnership marketing division at Allied in 2010, and recently led the firm’s expansion to London, offering clients global outreach. She previously held senior marketing roles at Disney, Warner Bros. Studios, Harrah’s Entertainment and Imagi Animation Studios. “She has done a tremendous job by continuously growing and elevating Allied’s Global Partnership Marketing solution over time,” said Allied CEO Clint Kendall.
